With the aim of making positive contributions to realize a multicultural society especially from the field of Japanese-language education, a study group of Japanese-language education in a multicultural society was established in 2006 as one of thematic study groups of The Society for Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language. This study group will be holding The 14th Symposium ‘Talks on Japanese-language policy – Would this movement lead us to happiness’ on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at The University of the Sacred Heart, Tokyo.
